What it means to host
Our players are college athletes traveling to Glens Falls from across the country to play summer wood-bat baseball in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League. They need a safe, welcoming place to call home from late May through early August.
Host families provide a bedroom, access to basic amenities, and the kind of small-town hospitality that turns a summer roster into a Dragons family. Many of our hosts stay in touch with their players for years after the season ends.
What we ask of host families
- A private bedroom for the player (shared bathroom is fine).
- Access to laundry, kitchen, and Wi-Fi.
- Willingness to provide some meals — though players are responsible for most of their own food.
- A welcoming, family-friendly home environment.
- Availability for the full season — roughly late May through the first week of August.
What you get
- Season tickets to every home game at East Field.
- A front-row seat to a player's summer — including the calls home after the wins and losses.
- An extended Dragons family that often lasts long past the final out of the season.
