The program
Dragons interns are exposed to every part of how a pro-style summer baseball team actually runs. You won't be making copies — you'll be helping run theme nights, working ballpark entertainment, sitting in on sales and sponsor pitches, and learning what it takes to put 60+ home games on a field.
What you'll actually do
Interns rotate through the departments they want to learn — so you can lean into the parts of the business that match your career goals. You'll also team up with the rest of the intern class on a signature project:
- Pitch a theme night concept from scratch.
- Build the marketing campaign around it.
- Sell tickets, sponsorships, and on-field experiences.
- Run it live during a Dragons home game.
By the end of the summer, you've shipped a real product — start to finish — in front of a real crowd.
Departments you can rotate through
BALLPARK ENTERTAINMENT
Between-inning games, promos on the field, fan experiences. The stuff that makes a Dragons game feel like a Dragons game.
SALES & SPONSORSHIP
Sit in on local-business pitches. Learn how a sponsor deck gets built, sold, and activated at the ballpark.
THEME NIGHT CREATION
Concept, market, sell, and execute your own night. The intern class owns one from start to finish.
BASEBALL OPERATIONS
The work behind the work — game-day prep, roster logistics, the schedule, the field. How a season actually runs.
Who we're looking for
- College students or recent grads interested in sports business, marketing, ops, or events.
- Available the full term — May 12 through August 6.
- Living within commuting distance of Glens Falls, NY, or with your own summer housing arranged.
- Self-starters who want to ship things, not just shadow.
How to apply
Send your cover letter and resume to the front office. Promising applicants will be invited in for an interview.
