The Dragons spotted Oneonta a 2-0 lead and then ran off seven unanswered, beating the Outlaws 7-2 at Damaschke Field on Friday night to climb to 3-7. Alex Kerr drove in three of them, and Glens Falls pieced together an 11-hit night without committing an error while the Outlaws kicked three balls around behind their pitching.

Down 2-0 after Daniel Tome III's RBI single in the third and Colton Penner's sacrifice fly in the fourth, the Dragons broke through in the fifth when Brady Fandl scored on an Oneonta error. They grabbed the lead for good in the sixth — Kerr's RBI single tied it before Rene Vega's two-run single put Glens Falls ahead — then pulled away with three in the eighth on Kerr's two-run double and a Giorgio Pantepinto sacrifice. Kerr finished 2-for-4 with three RBI, Vega reached base four times on a 2-for-2 night with two walks and two RBI, and Tyler Worth led the attack at 3-for-5.

David Yorke (W) turned in three innings of one-run relief and Billy Barthel slammed the door with three perfect innings for the save, retiring all nine Outlaws he faced after Anders Lowkes opened with three innings of one-run ball. Patrick Veintimilla (L) was charged with four runs over three frames. The Dragons visit the Boonville Lumberjacks on Sunday.
