The Dragons were shut out 9-0 by Mohawk Valley in a game that went six innings at Veterans Memorial Park on Thursday night, managing just four hits and slipping to 2-7. Jake Haarde did most of the damage for the DiamondDawgs, driving in four runs on a two-run double in the first and a two-run single in the fifth, while Glens Falls never pushed a runner across.

Mohawk Valley struck for three in the first — Connor Scanlan's RBI single opened the scoring before Haarde's double off the wall cashed in Scanlan and Byron Arias. The DiamondDawgs blew it open with six in the fifth, an inning that started with a double steal on which Joe Crenshaw swiped home. Haarde followed with his two-run single, and Nolan Colby, Jaden Santiago and Erick Diaz tacked on RBI singles to close the scoring at 9-0. Arias finished 2-for-3 with two runs, and Crenshaw scored twice. The Dragons' four hits came one apiece from Taye Robinson, Tyler Worth, Tyler McKillop and Rene Vega; McKillop and Vega also drew the team's only walks.

Ali Hood earned the win with four scoreless innings, allowing three hits and striking out three. Tyler Weygard took the loss, charged with three runs over three innings, and Alex Kerr was tagged for six in the fifth before Kyle Fives struck out two in a scoreless frame. The Dragons visit the Oneonta Outlaws on Friday night.
