Amsterdam scored six runs before Glens Falls recorded three outs and never looked back, pounding out 18 hits in a 19-9 win at Shuttleworth Park on Tuesday. The Mohawks led 15-0 after three innings — six in the first, one in the second, eight in the third — and the game ended after eight with the margin at ten, dropping the Dragons to 7-16.

Down 15, Glens Falls kept swinging. The Dragons erupted for six runs in the fifth, chasing Amsterdam starter Grant Nicholson and hanging four walks on reliever Joshua Martinez, who didn't record an out. Giorgio Pantepinto drove in two, and Kaden Barmer and Brady Fandl each reached twice, scored, and knocked in a run. David Yorke scored twice, and Anthony Lino added an RBI as Glens Falls plated two more in the seventh and one in the eighth. Amsterdam's lineup was relentless: Brandon McCraine went 3-for-4 with four runs, Robert Melo 3-for-3 with two RBI, and Tyler Figueroa drove in four.

Billy Kind took the loss, tagged for seven runs in 1.1 innings with six walks, and Noah Clauson was reached for eight more. Nicholson earned the win with eight strikeouts. The Dragons return home Wednesday to host the Boonville Lumberjacks at East Field.
